"Tween" Birthday!

We have a "Tween" in the house!!  My oldest baby has officially entered the double digits............YIKES!

We began her day with breakfast in bed.

YUM!!

My daughter is into Orange this year...........and since I had those fabulous lemons around the house :)...........I decided to use them as my inspiration too.

I used scrapping paper as placemats and hung some ribbon in bows from the chandelier. 

Name Cards were made from some mini staitionary found in my scrapping drawer.

I used the same ribbon to make a runner and added the lemons and daisies with the centerpiece of cupcakes, to the middle of the table.

There were chocolate and vanilla cupcakes for everyone's liking.

And the birthday girl made sure she made the right wish!!

When life gives you lemons............

I got a bag of lemons from my folks garden.   I came home and washed them and added a touch of color around the house.

I put them in three containers, one for each room.

 A little bowl of lemons added some color to the sofa table in the family room.

I love the yellow in the kitchen!



And I added the large bowl of lemons in the dining room with some branches from my magnolia tree.

I'm so ready for spring!!!
